Yesterday, I was telling a buddy of mine about an AI agent I custom-built for our Path members.
“This shit is starting to feel like Jarvis from Iron Man,” I said.
“It’s editing my videos, answering my emails, doing my bookkeeping, and like seventeen other things that would take me 20-30 hours a week to do myself.
It’s even running a daily scan for deals on business class flights to Bali and negotiating with a dozen Airbnb hosts for me, and has already saved me ~$1000.
Plus, it never gets tired, never complains, and never takes days off because it got the sniffles.”
As we spoke, I could see his mind churning through ideas for how to use it in his own business.
Then he asked me a question that should have chilled me to the bone.
I had just been telling him about a real estate investor I’m coaching, who went from averaging 10k a month to banking a 130k month this summer.
I don’t coach him on the technical aspects of real estate (that’s not my domain).
I coach him on capital allocation, team structure, decision making, operations, and the other mission-critical fundamentals of running a 7-8 figure business.
So, when this client told me he wanted to start doing bigger deals, I had my agent…
- Scrub the internet for the most up-to-date large-deal real estate strategies
- Analyze and pressure-test them, filtering out anything outdated or unproven
- Synthesize them for his specific business, drawing on transcripts of every conversation we’ve ever had for complete context
- Send him a master library of resources to go through, organized in order, and a tight Notion doc that summarizes them.
All it took was a brief voice note from me, and then my agent went to work in the background while I took a nap.
When I finished telling the story, my friend paused for a moment.
Then, he asked:
“If the agent can do all of that… What does your client need you for?”
I laughed.
“Everything AI can’t do.”
I explained:
“AI can answer our questions, but we need to know what questions to ask.
It can execute our tasks, but we need to know which tasks to focus it on.
It can help us see what we’re looking at more clearly, but it can’t tell us where to look.
My job is to see what they don’t know they can’t see, and to answer the questions they should be asking, but aren’t.”
A quick example, because this is critical to understand:
The same real estate client once asked me how to run paid ads for his business.
If I was an AI bot, I would have told him what buttons to press in Meta and what campaign structure to use (and then told him he was a genius for thinking of paid ads and that his bowel movements smelled like lilacs).
But I’m not an AI bot.
So I looked at the full scope of his business, analyzed his numbers, and identified a far easier, more direct strategy that would 5x his lead flow with no additional work.
Soon after, he hit his first 6 figure month.
Like I said, his question should have chilled me to the bone.
But it didn’t, because what I do and what AI does are two very different roles.
AI is an incredible soldier, but soldiers don’t win wars without lieutenants.
Which brings us to today’s announcement:
I’m putting the finishing touches on our Path AI agent, and will release it to our members next week, alongside a brand new, 2.5 hour AI Agents masterclass we filmed on retreat last month.
As one attendee put it:
“This agent alone is worth the cost of the retreat.”
Conservatively, I'd say it’s been worth ~25-30x more than that for my own business.
